  • Certified through Lamaze in 2012 which required reading a variety of books and research articles, taking training courses, and passing the Lamaze certification exam.

Experience

I have been a childbirth educator for the last 12 years. I have taught both group and one-on-one classes through Assure Women's Center, The Midwife's Place (a former, independent birth center), CHI hospitals, and my own business. For three years, I was a certified birth doula and attended around 30 births. I also have three children of my own.
